A nonprofit initiative · International education · France

France should be an opportunity, not a privilege.

We connect U.S. universities with French academic, corporate and institutional partners to create affordable, academically meaningful faculty-led international experiences.

A nonprofit initiative expanding access to international education,
one student and one opportunity at a time.

International education can change a student's life. Too many never get the chance.

Our mission is to broaden who gets to go—and help make the experience matter.

Our mission

Access isn’t an add-on. It’s the mission.

We believe international education should be accessible to more people—not just those who can afford it. We work with institutions and mission-aligned partners to create pathways that are academically grounded, locally connected and designed with access in mind.

Programs begin with faculty goals, curriculum and the questions students are exploring.

02 / CONNECT

Program themes

France, beyond the postcard.

Paris can be a gateway. The destination and itinerary should be shaped by the subject, the students and the people they meet. These are starting points for custom faculty-led programs, not fixed departures.

The founder story

An idea that started with one experience.

Studying in the United States changed the way I saw the world. It exposed me to different perspectives, cultures and possibilities—and influenced the direction of my life and career. I kept thinking about how many students might benefit from that kind of experience if access were easier.

The idea for Abroad for All began in 2008. It was registered as a nonprofit in 2016, and the website and concept were developed in 2017. After the disruption of COVID, I’m returning to the mission with a clearer focus: connect universities with partners in France and help widen access to international learning.

“The mission remains the same: give more students the opportunity to discover the world—and discover what they’re capable of in the process.”
2008The idea begins.
2016Nonprofit registration.
2017Website and concept development; NAFSA engagement.
2020Project paused during COVID disruption.
2026A new chapter begins.
